Welcome to Our School

This year Giving Tuesday is November 27, 2018. What is Giving Tuesday? #GivingTuesday was founded in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y, a community and cultural center in New York City. #GivingTuesday inspired millions of people to give back and support the causes they believe in. Over $300 million was raised online to benefit a tremendously broad range of organizations, and much more was given in volunteer hours, donations of food and clothing, and acts of kindness.

For most of us, Black Friday and cyber Monday are the unofficial start to the Christmas Shopping season. This year, let us make Giving Tuesday the official start to the giving season! Mark your calendars and join us by donating to the St. John Vianney Anchored in Hope fund.

St. John Vianney Catholic School is a Christ-centered community guided by the Congregation of Holy Cross educating both minds and hearts while achieving high academic standards and embracing the call to serve. The St. John Vianney Anchored in Hope fund will help us in our constant effort to ensure that all families who desire a Catholic education have the resources to make this a reality at St. John Vianney in Goodyear Arizona.

A Letter from the Pastor and Principal:

May the Peace of Christ be with you!  Our entire St. John Vianney staff would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning school families. We are thrilled to know that your family has joined us on the journey of educating the minds and hearts of our SJV students. We are motivated to support you as the primary educators of your children, assisting in forming him or her in the faith and commitments made during their baptism.  Thank you for supporting Catholic Education and we look forward to partnering with you in the Christian Education of your child/ren.  May we all grow in knowing, loving, and serving God, and making HIM known to others. May Mary, our heavenly Mother, guide us in all we will do as we embark on this exciting journey together.

United in prayer and gratitude,

Fr. Tom Eckert, C.S.C.       Doug Weivoda, M.ED
Pastor Principal
